Nancy Hodes and Ginger LandyNancy Hodes
Principal

Ms. Hodes founded Hodes Associates in 1992 after a distinguished 20 year career in New York State government. As executive deputy director of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations under Mario Cuomo, she developed the State's collective bargaining strategy, successfully negotiated contracts with public employee unions, and managed a budget of $6.5 million. Now, at Hodes & Landy, she continues to provide high-quality representation and strategy development for clients while managing further expansion of the firm. In the community, her leadership as board chair of the Albany Institute of History and Art (AIHA) helped to transform one of the oldest museums in the country to a new museum poised to serve the community well into the future. In addition to the board of AIHA, she currently serves on Re-Capitalize Albany, an economic development strategy group established by Albany City Mayor Jerry Jennings, the board of advisors of the American Cancer Society, and the board of Capital Culture, a collaboration between the three largest cultural institutions in the Capital District. She was a 2002 winner of the prestigious Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce Woman of Excellence Award. Ms. Hodes graduated from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, as well as the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.

Ginger Lynch Landy
Principal

Since 2000, Ms. Lynch Landy has overseen a variety of areas for Hodes & Landy, including client representation, strategy development, legislative and regulatory analysis, political consultation, and business development. Throughout her career, she has combined productive relationships with public officials with an in-depth knowledge of New York State government to produce results. On the staff of a senior State Senator, she focused on public policy research and analysis, legislation, and constituent relations. As Special Assistant to the Mayor of Mount Vernon, she managed relations with every constituency, from federal offices to members of the press. She also made her mark at the Maxwell School for Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University, where she managed training programs, federal grants, and international delegations. A graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, she has completed graduate coursework at the Maxwell School and the City University of New York. Ms. Lynch Landy is an active board member and past president of the Rotary Club of Delmar. She has also volunteered in the community as a youth leader, coach and fundraiser. Her family enjoys regularly hosting Rotary exchange students.

Michele O'Connor
Legislative Associate

In her current role, Ms. O'Connor manages all research conducted at Hodes & Landy, engages in detailed analysis of legislation and regulations, monitors the media for client-related topics, and provides clients with updates on developments in their areas of interest. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, she has served as adjunct professor of English with the University at Albany, from which she earned her master's degree.

Courtney David
Executive Assistant

A valuable member of the team, Ms. David executes a wide range of duties from overseeing all of the firm's financial matters, to scheduling client meetings, lobby days, and legislative meetings. She is responsible for filing required documentation with the State Lobby Commission and coordinating all other aspects of the business. Before coming to Hodes & Landy, she served as executive secretary to State Senator Dean Skelos, Majority Leader (9th Senate District). Ms. David holds an AAS in Accounting from Hudson Valley and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the Sage College of Albany.
